About Boulder Creek, California
A nineteenth century logging town that is filled with the charm of the old
west in the heart of the redwoods, 45 min. from the University town of
Santa Cruz, California. Creekside cabins at Merrybrook Lodge are
reasonably priced and available for lodging, located 2 blocks from a New
Leaf Market which carries locally grown organic produce and meats as well
as a full range of other healthy groceries. Scopazzi's restaurant
combines the rustic warmth of a redwood building with the elegance of fine
dining and is also within walking distance as is a variety of shopping and
other dining experiences. Big Basin State Park is 9 miles down the
road with some of the oldest trees on the planet preserved in perpetuity
by wise ecologists in 1904. |
